CHECK POINT!
I am holding a red flag waiting for three more days to pass, to implant it in the novel of my past.. Right now I am on page 6000 and something. Looking back, through the distance, i can see 17 red flags moving slowing.. each resembling the checkpoints I have reached, and each indicating a year-full of accomplishments and a path of awaiting dreams. Recorded on one of the prior pages, my first reading book from school, "Look" it was called. Yes i remember thinking how ridiculous it was to keep on reading the same word again and again throughout the book lol =P, although I was just four.. Old days..
My novel includes a couple of dim pages, and as awkward as it may seem, I am glad it does. After all, how would I be able to distinguish the colorful ones and taste the sweetness of them if there were no dim pages? Appreciation of the good comes only after we suffer from the bad, and only then will we be able to treasure it and cherish every piece we can lay our hands upon.
Then again, flipping through my memories, I see some pages written upside down. It was done intentionally, and that explains that some situations just doesn't seem to work the way we want. And just as those days seem to flow against my waves, I have written those pages against the previous flow of words..
I have reached some pages so bright that they brought a smile on my face recalling what was written on them..
Happy to know that my novel contains a colorful set of pages, I will complete the journey, continue coloring the pages based upon my days, and writing them in my memory.. I just can't bare watching every moment diffuse without being recorded and remembered, because I feel everything is there for a reason, and everything is done for us to learn from..
Someone very special to me told me once: "Well every moment is precious, doesn't matter if you like it or not, doesn't matter how much you enjoy living it through..it is still precious" =)
